HOW IS IT ALL PAID FOR?
SPIRITULIZED is a locally led charity, funded predominantly by regular donations from individuals within the community and churches. Our work is almost entirely run by a team of dedicated volunteers which keeps our costs to the minimum.
We have also received donations from the Joseph Rank Trust, Kingsbridge Town Council, Devon and Cornwall Police Constabulary, The Rotary Clubs of Kingsbridge and Kingsbridge Estuary, South Hams District Councillors and Devon County Councillors.
We are particulary thankful to local businesses which support our work in different ways, including:
Co-Op Stores, Datum Alloys, Tally Ho Coach Company, King's Alton Properties and The Kingsbridge and District Rest Centre.
DO YOU HAVE TO BE A CHRISTIAN TO JOIN IN THE ACTIVITIES?
No, SPIRITULIZED projects are open to all irrespective of your faith and beliefs. Whenever possible, we will make it clear if we are addressing faith issues directly.
We always welcome questions from young people about faith matters and as most of our volunteers are active members of local churches they are happy to share their beliefs and pray with young people if they wish.
DO YOU HAVE TO PAY TO TAKE PART IN THE ACTIVITIES?
We try to make our activities FREE of charge or afforable as possible. If the cost of an activity is preventing you, or your child from taking part please get in touch as we can waive charges in some cases.
